DIAZEPAM 10MG
Is a sedative, anxiolytic, and muscle relaxant medication that belongs to the benzodiazepine class. It works by increasing the effects of a naturally calming neurotransmitter in the brain called GABA.
Common uses:
Short-term treatment of anxiety (moderate to severe anxiety disorders or anxiety symptoms).
Relief of alcohol withdrawal symptoms (such as agitation, tremors, and hallucinations).
Adjunctive treatment for muscle spasms caused by injury or conditions such as cerebral palsy and stiff-man syndrome.
Adjunctive treatment of certain seizure disorders (epilepsy).
As premedication before surgery or medical/dental procedures to induce sedation and reduce anxiety.
